Border Cup contributes to Candles for Life

City of Eagle Pass – October 2019 – This year, as part of the 2019 “Give Cancer the Boot” campaign, IBC Bank donated all the proceeds to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Most importantly, IBC Bank matched dollar for dollar.

In addition, IBC Bank-Eagle Pass Region president & CEO Hector J. Cerna presented checks for $1,600 to both Candles for Life and Grupo de Apoyo a Personas con Cancer (GAC) as a charitable donation to assist them with services and treatments supporting each community.

For another excellent year, another year of giving, and our First Annual Walk-a-Thon Festival!

Everyone had a great time, we had lots of participation, and we raised much needed funds.

On November 11th, 2016 EPISD’s C.C. Winn High School presented Candles for Life a check for the amount of $5000.00 to help them support the cancer patients of Maverick County. From all of us, we thank you for your continued support of our mission to help those fighting this dread illness.
